I only collect what you type into my contact form or send me by email.
I use it to reply to you and to work with you. That's it.
I don't sell your information, and this site has no ads, tracking or analytics.

This privacy policy explains how Simple Site AI ("I," "me" or "my"), run by Carolyn, handles personal information collected through simplesiteai.com (the "site"), including the Spanish version at simplesiteai.com/es/.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, business name (optional) and your message. If you email me, I receive your email address and anything you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, the company that hosts this site keeps basic technical records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. These are used to deliver the site and keep it secure. This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking tools.

How I use your information

To reply to your message and schedule your free call.
To provide the services you ask for, send quotes and invoices, and keep basic business records.
To protect the site from spam and abuse.

I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask me to.

Services that help run this site

I use a few trusted service providers. They handle information only to provide their service to me:

Vercel hosts this site.
Formspree receives contact form messages, stores them, and forwards them to my email.
Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
My email providers deliver and store messages sent to hello@simplesiteai.com.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if required by law, or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

What I don't do

I don't sell or rent your personal information.
I don't share it for advertising.
I don't use it to train AI tools.

How long I keep it

I keep contact form messages and emails for as long as needed to reply and follow up, and generally no longer than two years if we don't end up working together. If you become a client, I keep project and billing records as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can email hello@simplesiteai.com at any time to ask what information I have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. I'll respond within 30 days.

"Do Not Track" signals: this site does not track you across websites, so it does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track browser settings.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as using secure (HTTPS) connections and trusted providers. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the contact form.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
